Stanley's home. I gave him a bath so he's all nice and clean now. A bit cheaper than I thought it would be (not that repair is cheap by any standard) but it helps.

Here he is! And actually, it's a flattering view because you can't see all the scratches, dents and various other owies. But he's still looking good for eighteen and a half, don't you think?

And now it's time to glue butt in chair and work on the stuff for the deadline on Friday. After a trip to the grocery store. I'm hungry and out of fruit. I can get it done. I have 'till late Friday, since I can email it this time. Yaaaayyy!

And I can't believe I'm off to WFC a week from tomorrow. Crazy.

So. Came home from a nice lunch with some writerly folks. Was going to wash my car. Saw another &%$#@ing puddle of oil on the garage floor. And now I can't get my car back from the repair shop until after work tomorrow.

AAAARRRGGGGHHH!!!!!

Student loan money is not supposed to go for car repair, dammit. Thankfully, one of my co-workers will come get me in the morning, and if I can get there, I can get home again, but, damn. Like I told [profile] devilwrites yesterday, this is when it sucks being single and living alone, because there's no one to ferry me to places like work and airports if I need a ride. Arrrgggh. And I just had four days off. And it can't wait until my next day off because it leaks standing still.

Aren't cars FUN?
