This is one of the best pics. Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] devilwrites! :>)

Okay. I've gotten a lot of my SHU pics up. Some are sideways. Oops. Maybe I'll fix them later, and I'll upload a few more. But there's a set of them up on Flickr here. Feel free to steal any you want.

And now I should really do something productive, like finish up crits for the pieces we're going to workshop in a couple hours . . .

Just a brief note to say, yes, I do indeed have a nifty piece of paper in a red leather folio with my name on it. Very exciting, that.

I'm also tired as heck, so pics are going to have to wait . . . but I do have them.

I have an M.A. WOOHOO!!!!!

It's that time of year again. Wine Social! It turned out really well. My last one. :>( But it has been handed down to worthy hands, so the tradition will continue.

Did my reading tonight. Went very, very well, and these two lovely people actually passed me. We all went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse (yes, I wore the outfit there, peanuts on the floor and all) and everyone totally embarrassed me by having the waitresses come over and clap and cheer and fit me with a plastic cowboy hat.

I love this one. I really, really do. The fabulous [livejournal.com profile] timons on my left, and [livejournal.com profile] annesible on my right. (er, my right, and my left, but not when you're looking at the pic.)

Tim and Anne watching intently. (Yes, I was entertaining. S. videoed me on my camera, most of it, so I'll see if I can get some of it on YouTube or something soon so you all can see.)

Me answering questions.

Now, my story is up for crit tomorrow, the wine social (my last, but now passed into good, capable hands) and teaching on Monday, pitch on Tuesday, and graduate on Wednesday. Eeeek!

My thesis novel was passed by both readers. Yaaay! I can graduate! And both readers had good ideas of stuff I can go through and fix to make it better, so hopefully it'll find a home somewhere.

They also both said they haven't read anything like it, he he he, which is good in one way, but I know it'll be darn hard to place. I have a few starting points though once it's fixed up.

All that's left is my genre paper, which is partially done, and the teaching module, which should be cake as long as I do a nice outline of it so I don't end up at a loss of what to say. I wish I had PowerPoint, which would make it easier, but I can do without it as long as I get internet access. Preferably on my computer, though they said sometimes it doesn't work to hook it up to the classroom system. Hmmm. I'll worry about that later. Oh, and the thesis reading, which I'm trying to figure out something fun so I'm not just standing behind the podium. Oooh, and I get to go shopping for something fun to wear. -grin- I don't ever go shopping anymore.

Anyhoo. Yaaaaay!!!
