Merry Christmas, folks! Hope yours was as nice as mine. I did cook myself dinner--sans turkey--but before that, look where I went! This is my favorite beach on Coronado Island behind the Hotel del Coronado. The waves were really high; it was cool seeing them smash up against the rocks.
This shell sort of looks like a heart, don't you think? I didn't find it on the rock; I just put it there for the picture. But I did bring it home. That, and a cool little snail shell. :>)
And then I did go to the zoo, but I didn't stay long because it was about as crowded as summertime. Now hopefully I'll get some writing done. . .after I take a nap, 'cause the food made me tired. Carrots and sweet potatos and pear/cream cheese/whip/lime Jell-o. Mmmm. And french bread.
