Got about 3,000 words on the lizard story between last night and this morning. It's only up to about 33,000 words, though, so I think it needs a bit of padding. Prited it out so I can look over it at work. Actually handwrote a scene at work yesterday and typed it up later. It works and I like it and it helps explain a few things that come later.
Still going over stuff I need for my little road trip. Audio book: check. CD's: will get later. Tonight, maybe. Snacks: on my list for tomorrow morning. Maps, directions, car reservation: will print out later. Tonight, probably. I'm looking forward to it. I'm just neurotic about planning, and it's supposed to rain in San Diego Tuesday and Wednesday. Ick.
Anyway. Off to work now. Booo. Maybe I'll catch a couple folks I know who are hanging out at the writer's conference in the hotel this weekend . . .
