Put your music-makin' device on "random shuffle," take the first 15 songs, post a random line from each, and invite the world to name that tune.
Yeah, because I'm awake and not in the mood to write. As added fun, I've included the names of the artists following the song, but mixed up. :>) I forget the name of those puzzles. Word scrambles, at their most basic, because this isn't much fun when you have no idea at all about any of the tunes. And I generally tried to go for the choruses to make it easier. And I cheated, because this is just the Yahoo jukebox on "My Station" which includes a bunch of instrumentals, and some tunes that they throw in to see if I'll like them or not (and I didn't, so I didn't count them,) and some tunes that no one would ever get, and some I couldn't understand the lyrics to.
Anyway. This took waaaaay too long, and now it's bedtime.
1. "And the radio played like a carnival tune as we lay in our bed beyond our room, and we gave it away for the sake of a dream in a penny arcade if you know what I mean/If you know what I mean/If you know what I mean--Dial Deinmon

6. How can I save my little boy from Oppenheimer's deadly toy? We share the same biology, regardless of ideology, believe me when I say to you I hope the Russians love their children too--Gints
7. Shout, shout, let it all out, these are the things I can do without, come on, I'm talking to you, come on--Offer Tar Seres (I have a horrible memory of this tune. Notably, in a room in the music building that's right behind a concert hall, a friend and I blasted this tune without realizing how thin the walls were, or that a piano concert was going on, and they had to stop the concert while someone ran up the stairs to tell us to turn the music off, and the pianist had to start his tune over from the beginning because we messed him up.)
8. Babe I'm leavin, I must be on my way, the time is drawing near, the train is going, I can see it in your eyes, I don't believe your tears, but I'll be lonely without you, I'll need your love to see me through, so please believe me, my heart is in your hands, and I'll be missing you. You know it's you babe, whenever I get weary and I've had enough, feel like giving up, you know its you babe, giving me the courage and the strength I need, please believe that it's true, babe I love you.--Xyts

10. Don't look at me, don't smile, at me, just close your eyes . . . don't say your prayers, don't build your hopes just walk away--Chestoral Omenvaures in the Kard
11. Lay down, your sweet and weary head, night is falling, you've come to journey's end. Sleep now, and dream of the ones who came before. They are calling, from across the distant shore. Why do you weep? What are these tears upon your face? Soon you will see all of your fears will pass away safe in my arms, you're only sleeping. What can you see? On the horizon? Why do the white gulls call? Across the sea, a pale moon rises, the ships have come to carry you home. Dawn will turn to silver glass the lights on the water all souls pass. Hope fades, into the world of night. Through shadows falling, out of memory and time, don't say we have come now to the end white shores are calling you and I will meet again and you'll be here in my arms. Just sleeping. What can you see? On the horizon? Why do the white gulls call? Across the sea, a pale moon rises, the ships have come to carry you home. And all will turn to silver glass, the lights on the water, gray pass into the west.--Naxiel Nenno [I really like this tune, can you tell?]
12. You're livin' in your own private Idaho, your own private Idaho--52 Beths
13. Ain't it foggy outside, all the planes have been grounded, ain't the fire inside, let's all go stand around it. Funny I've been there and you've been here and we ain't had no time to drink that beer. Cause I understand you been runnin' from the man that goes by the name of the Sandman, he rides the sky like an eagle in the eye of a hurricane that's abandoned.--Carimea
14. Oh Mary was unhappy with the life that she led, she was a simple girl without much to say, so one day she up and left her dreary home and left her friends all alone . . . Oh Mary won't you please come, Mary won't you please come, Mary won't you please come . . . --Going Boonio
15. Hey hey hey hey, ooooohooooo whoa . . . Don't you, come clean about me, I'll be alone, dancin' with no one baby, tell me your troubles now, give me everything inside and out . . . Don't you, forget about me, don't don't don't don't, don't you, forget about me, do you stand above me, look my way . . . rain keeps falling . . . down, down down--Dims Plemins
