I get to graduate!
My thesis novel was passed by both readers. Yaaay! I can graduate! And both readers had good ideas of stuff I can go through and fix to make it better, so hopefully it'll find a home somewhere.
They also both said they haven't read anything like it, he he he, which is good in one way, but I know it'll be darn hard to place. I have a few starting points though once it's fixed up.
All that's left is my genre paper, which is partially done, and the teaching module, which should be cake as long as I do a nice outline of it so I don't end up at a loss of what to say. I wish I had PowerPoint, which would make it easier, but I can do without it as long as I get internet access. Preferably on my computer, though they said sometimes it doesn't work to hook it up to the classroom system. Hmmm. I'll worry about that later. Oh, and the thesis reading, which I'm trying to figure out something fun so I'm not just standing behind the podium. Oooh, and I get to go shopping for something fun to wear. -grin- I don't ever go shopping anymore.
Anyhoo. Yaaaaay!!!

I'm trying to think of "something fun" that would go with reading your thesis novel to an audience (only part of it, presumably). Hmmm.... well, a re-enactment of the first chapter is definitely out! You'll come up with something good, I'm sure.

I have used Zoho Show, a free web-based Powerpoint-like application to build a presentation. It works very well, if you can use your PC for the presentation.
